It's like the contest to see who can urinate the furthest. The more you can make "I hate you, you unworthy piece of vermin, feel my wrath!" sound like "have a nice day" the better.

Although with drunk yob culture everyone over here has lost this ability. It's something I myself learnt from my father, and isn't quite as commonplace as you think.

Although when we go abroad it multiplies, in the same way an American tourist in an area with a population less than 4,000 is going to say the word "quaint" with horrifying certainty. (Yes, I have had it happen to me. In Faversham, which is quite a large town for reference.)

Have you seen the video of people walking around in the street, being asked which country they would like Bush to attack next, and being asked to place a pin in it? They changed the names of the country, so whichever they chose got switched with Australia.
